Mas Tortilla offers delicious tacos and great service! The Birria Tacos are rich and juicy, the Baja Fish Taco is crispy with fresh slaw, and the Carne Asada Taco is packed with flavor. Crunchy Chicken and Beef Flautas are a must-try. Friendly staff and Taco Tuesday deals make it even better!

A straight up excellent Mexican restaurant hiding in plain sight in one of the most unexpected locations in Forest Hills, far and isolated physically and even more so culturally from any of the cities hubs for great Mexican food. Food and drinks are both consistently excellent and authentic. Think complex and rich moles, pungent and flavorful house made salsas, legit tortillas including the locally rare blue corn varieties, unexpected elevated offerings like duck enchiladas, and tart and tasty margaritas and other cocktails made from a bar well stocked with great tequilas and mezcals, often times discounted at a solid happy hour. The Mexican authenticity carries over to the warm and professional service as well. Don't let the goofy name fool ya! A clutch, under the radar asset in a great and singular iconic NYC neighborhood that's shockingly and egregiously lacking in solid dining options overall.

I've been at Mas Tortilla twice. Randomly, both were on a Tuesday, which luckily for me, happened to be Taco Tuesday. The selection was plentiful, which was awesome but challenging... I just wanted to order one of each but I know I couldn't have eaten 15 tacos even if I wanted to. Despite of only trying 4 different flavors, I can say that all the food is great. I was there for a couple of hours and, during that time, I saw 37 deliveries go out... The ambience was mellow as you can expect it on a Tuesday evening; however, after a couple of margaritas, I was asked what kind of music I wanted to hear. They may not have a party going but they are sure willing to welcome yours! Love this place!!

Food portion for pay is great!!! They give great portion sizes. Food was okay, not much flavor but still good. Overall give the place a 7/10.

Mas Tortilla has a great restaurant week deal through Aug 18th! Appetizer, entree, dessert and a cocktail for $35. Started off with the birria empanada which was lovely. For the entree, the blue corn tortilla quesadilla with duck tinga, was excellent! For dessert, the warm churros stuffed with dulce de leche and served with vanilla ice cream were just scrumptious. Their margaritas are also great. I've been there multiple times and also love their fish tacos and chicken enchiladas. Mas Tortilla is always a good choice and even better when the RW menu is in effect.

Just moved to the neighborhood and Mas Tortilla is already one of my go-to restaurants. Pretty much everything is good (wouldn't recommend the ceviche) but the mole tamales and Baja fish tacos are stand outs. Plus, most orders come with a side of rice and beans so you never leave hungry. Sometimes they're a little understaffed but the service is always friendly. This casual spot is perfect for an informal dinner or a fun group of friends. They also have specials like Taco Tuesday and Ladies Night on Wednesdays. Highly recommend!

Really good food! Went during restaurant week so we have a 3 course meal, i got the corn, burria tacos, and churro. I tried the teliquini. The service was welcoming and the restaurant was cute and intimate. It had different types of decor.

As a chef for over 20 years I can say that this place is wonderful, food is so good, service almost there, I will recommend owner to add a server during week days, ambience needs more flow, more music and a little louder, but overall I can say to the owner that please make more ambience with your music other than that it's a nice family and couple place. Great job
